About Twin Tiers Radon Help

A simpler introduction to independent radon help

We help homeowners in the Elmira–Corning area request testing, mitigation, repair or fan-replacement help through a flexible network of participating independent providers, one provider at a time.

Twin Tiers Radon Help is operated by MarCas Holding LLC.

The relationship, in plain language

Twin Tiers Radon Help operates a local referral website. When you complete the request form and check the consent box, you ask us to share your information with one participating independent radon service provider at a time. That provider may contact you by phone, text or email about your request.

What we do

  • Collect the details you choose to submit
  • Review service needs, coverage, qualifications and availability
  • Share it with one matched provider at a time
  • Accept requests for testing, mitigation, repair and fan replacement
  • Publish practical public-health-based guidance

What we do not do

  • Test for or mitigate radon
  • Inspect, design, install or repair systems
  • Employ or control participating providers
  • Certify work or promise results, price or timing

How providers are selected

We match each request with one participating independent provider based on service area, service needed, qualifications, and availability.

Participating providers are independent businesses, not employees of Twin Tiers Radon Help. Provider availability may change. Before routing a request, we review service coverage, relevant certification, insurance status, requested service, and current availability.

Our participation requirements are:

  • Current national certification through NRPP or NRSB relevant to the requested service
  • Verified insurance
  • Coverage for your ZIP code and the service you need
  • Available capacity to handle your request
  • An agreed response standard, with response performance reviewed

Twin Tiers Radon Help does not guarantee workmanship or claim that a matched provider is the only or best option. You are free to compare providers or choose someone else.

One provider at a time

Once your request is assigned, we tell you who it was matched with and provide the provider’s credentials and contact details. We never share your request with several providers simultaneously. If a provider declines or does not respond, we will ask for your permission before sharing your request with a replacement provider. If no suitable provider is available, we will let you know.

Referral fees

We may receive a referral fee from a participating provider when we connect a request. A referral does not obligate you to hire that provider.

Your decision remains yours

Twin Tiers Radon Help handles your referral request; the independent provider handles the property assessment, estimate and any work you agree to. Follow-up timing depends on provider availability. Submitting a request does not book an appointment.

A referral is not an endorsement, estimate acceptance or contract. Ask the provider about qualifications, insurance, references, written scope, testing, warranty and any other point important to you. If you hire the provider, your agreement is directly with that provider.

How we use sources

Our guides summarize public information from NYSDOH and the EPA and link to the sources so you can check the guidance. They help you prepare questions for a provider; they are not a property assessment, medical advice or a certification of a contractor’s work. Local test statistics describe the homes sampled, not the radon level in your home.

No government or certification-program affiliation

Twin Tiers Radon Help is not affiliated with the New York State Department of Health, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, NRPP or NRSB. Links to public guidance are provided for education and do not imply approval or affiliation.
